Honestly, for all of the problems Fairy Tail had (and it did have a lot) it actually remained consistent in it's characters and how much they all kicked ass. Even the lowest ranks of the guild could typically be counted to hold their own so long as their pride and confidence could hold out.

Now I kinda wonder what Cardin and his team have been doing since The Fall. Best I can hope is that they are helping Glynda and the teachers in Vale.

I wonder how some scenes would look if CRWBY was able to actually work battle damage in, but given it's 3D models that is really time consuming. I think the most battle damage we have really seen is (in no order);
Yang losing an arm
Yang's robot arm being damaged against Adam
Oscar's battered and bruised body
Penny leaking green fluid everywhere
and the handful of occasions where characters have been stabbed and we get to see them bleed

Yeah speaking from personal experience texturing that kind of stuff is a giant pain in the ass and re-modelling something cos of it is even worse, as it can completely fuckup the applied textures and make you have to redo everything.
