It doesn't matter what the Ever After is, honestly. If Neo continues to operate with the same pattern of self-destructive decisions that BARELY make sense even in the short term, she's going to have a bad end and it will be entirely her own fault. And honestly, after the boneheaded stunts she pulled in the Atlas arc, seeing those consequences would honestly be satisfying. I don't know if CRWBY will take that route with her, mostly because they've done that flavor of villain screwing themselves into the grave several times over (Adam, Ironwood, Watts). But at the same time, Neo so far hasn't really shown any of the self-introspection needed to grow out of that path in a way that would be believable to the viewer. She's certainly no Emerald. Hell, she's not even a Mercury.

Which means that right now, without something in the Ever After to justify it, there's only one ending.

If Neo was to die in V9, would you be for it, against it, or ok with it?
Interesting theories to say the least if not my style.

As to me, kinda with ᛚᛟᚲᛁ ᚱᚢᛚᛖᛋ ᚨᚾᛞ ᚦᛟᚱ ᛞᚱᛟᛟᛚᛊ on this, there's been a lot of curve balls to its hard to predict.

I do concur with some that death ends possibilities for a characters, and I enjoy Neo's presence more than say Adam's, but I can't say for sure how much outside of the practical she could contribute by staying alive either.

THAT fucker is going on about ableism after he- Honestly I'm not surprised.

Isn't that the pedo creep who ships Oscar with Ozpin and/or Weiss with Ironwood?

Anyway happened to look up the Grimm Eclipse power armor sets and noticed one of Yang's combat moves has her doing the splits.

Damn she's flexible.

Well......not to agree with them, but Coco Chanel did work for the Nazi's. And her designs, especially the handbag, do seem to match what we see on CFVY's leader.
But honestly, I could see CRWBY not looking all that deep into Chanel's history. Given that Coco, Fox, and Yatsuhashi were made more or less to give the popular rabbit faunus Velvet a team I think Adel was made more based on the fashion line than the actual person.
I mean, isn't Yatsuhashi partially based on a Japanese snack? And what the heck is Fox's allusion?

The worst details of Chanels ties to the Nazis weren't known publicly until after some files were declassified last decade, well after RT made Coco. At the time, the logic was simply 'Coco is a good fashion reference', nothing more. Ironpines has tried to leverage that into the character being a secret Nazi, and anyone that says otherwise is a Nazi apologist.

Matrix was referring to the character not her inspiration which would be the fashion brand anyway, assuming it wasn't just for coco plants.

Well I am pretty sure each member of CFVY is partially inspired by a treat.
Coco is the coco plant, as you say, and you can also get coffee, chocolate, caramel and such from her name and design.
Velvet is obviously the Velveteen Rabbit, but her name also brings to mine Velvet Cake.
the boys are harder for me to recall without looking. As I said earlier I am sure Yatsu is tied to some kind of snack (something like mochi or similar), but our blind telepath Fox? I have zero clue.

oh, speaking of CFVY and Velvet.
the tale of the Velveteen Rabbit really does fit Velvet from top to bottom.
"A stuffed rabbit sewn from velveteen is given as a Christmas present to a small boy. The boy plays with his other new presents and forgets the velveteen rabbit for a time. These presents are modern and mechanical, and they snub the old-fashioned velveteen rabbit. The wisest and oldest toy in the nursery, the Skin Horse, which was owned by the boy's uncle, tells the rabbit about toys magically becoming real due to love from children: "Real isn't how you are made... It's a thing that happens to you. When a child loves you for a long, long time, not just to play with, but REALLY loves you, then you become real." [1] The rabbit is awed by this idea; however, his chances of achieving this wish are slight.

One night, the boy's nanny gives the rabbit to the boy to sleep with, in place of a lost toy. The rabbit becomes the boy's favourite toy, enjoying picnics with him in the spring, and the boy regards the rabbit as real. Time passes and the rabbit becomes shabbier, but happy. It meets some real rabbits in the summer, and they learn that the velveteen rabbit cannot hop as they do, and they say that he is not a real rabbit.

One day, the boy comes down with scarlet fever, and the rabbit sits with him as he recovers. The doctor orders that the boy should be taken to the seaside and that his room should be disinfected — all his books and toys burnt, including the velveteen rabbit. The rabbit is bundled into a sack and left out in the garden overnight, where he reflects sadly on his life with his boy. The toy rabbit cries, a real tear drops onto the ground, and a marvellous flower appears. A fairy steps out of the flower and comforts the velveteen rabbit, introducing herself as the Nursery Magic Fairy. She says that, because he has become real to the boy who truly loves him, she will take him away with her and "turn [him] into Real" to everyone.

The fairy takes the rabbit to the forest, where she meets the other rabbits and gives the velveteen rabbit a kiss. The velveteen rabbit changes into a real rabbit and joins the other rabbits in the forest. The next spring the rabbit returns to look at the boy, and the boy sees a resemblance to his old velveteen rabbit, and enjoys seeing the rabbit out in the wild."

and as for what Fox and Yatsuhashi are, here is what the wiki says;
- "The members of Team CFVY appear to have names derived from various sweets with Fox's name making an allusion to the fox hunter's pie. Fox could also relate to 'Fox's Biscuits' a British company most known for manufacturing various types of biscuits and cookies."

- ""Yatsuhashi" are a type of Japanese cinnamon cookie, often colored a warm brown tone and possibly a nod towards the mocha colors of the team."

I also like this post

and I mean, so many people are focusing on the "Racist Weiss" stuff, but just like back in the early volumes don't pick up on how it's JAC that is the real source of Weiss' issues. And then here comes Adamus who catches on and tries to point out that it's Weiss' toxic up bringing that is the real problem. Gods I love their posts.

I mean, there are no faunus in the walls of her city, and instead it's basically wall to wall Jac's ever watchful eye.

And I mean.....isn't that kind of the true core of racism? especially in this day and age.
racism tends to stem from FEAR. fear of others, fear of unknowns.
and through history people use that kind of fear to control others and to give themselves a false sense of comfort or courage against those fears.
"It's not OUR fault things are bad. They only BECAME bad when those gypsies moved through."
"It is not OUR fault we can't find jobs. Those foreigners are taking them!"
"Faunus are nothing but brutes and animals. They attack our people and even have literal animal parts on them."

And especially those in charge and hold power don't want things to change for the better, for that fear to go away.
Because it makes them look bad for having that fear in the first place and brings the risk of losing what powers they have over others.
That gives them another fear, and in time fears compound and twist.
The fears and nightmares become like a......well.....a tangled bush of thorns. No clear path to the source, and any attempt to untangle or remove is met with the sharp thorns.
