Thanks to Ryan Haywood being a creeper bastard, Red Vs Blue Zero has been delayed until November 9 due to the need to revoice his character. With RWBY on the 7th, that weekend's going to be awseome.

Oh interesting, I hadn't heard they were re-voicing him. Also wow, so much stuff my poor brain will be over taxed XD

It makes sense really. I mean, would you give the son of a bitch any more publicity then you had to? Not to mention several of the other cast members are pretty hurt by his actions and what nothing to do with him.

I see dappercat is still going. And yeah, haro's definitely on to something. Also, as I noted in another version of that thread, I totally forgot his response to a threat to Mistral was to abandon it.

Hmm? Oh I hadn't noticed them on that post XD

Yeah I thought it was a good breakdown that helped put things into context with RWBY's world building.

So true! "Atlas will save the world!... SO long as we aren't put in any danger."

God dammit, every time I see Blake blaming herself for everything, it hits harder now that those fuckstains have spent years abusing Arryn because her ex-boyfriend is an abusive scumbag that cheated on her and his fanbrats can't stand him possibly being at fault.
Gosh y es, they're still being nightmarishly awful and disgusting, tyring to drag Barbara into it as well.

You guys misseeed out if you didnt watch Kdin stream with Kerry,Laura Yates and Christine Stuckart.

i was late myself to it.

some stuff i actually heard.

“Kdin:- one word thought on v9

Christine: - oof.
everybody: - oh yes.
Laura : -*sigh* a LOT HAPPENS. its not a good volume for…2020. its heavy and emotinal
Kerry:- dRAAAMAAA~~~ or..HEAVY. it’s definitely a BIG volume.
Kdin:- exhausting. intense. No lie, there was at least one session where after my recording i had to sit down and just realise to what happened, and people were like:- are you ok? and i was almost crying.”

Chat: - without spoilers how dark is this volume?

Christine:- one of our animators is animating his scenes and listens to Avengers and Lord of the Rings ost to get in the mood, if it tells you anything

Kerry:- we took the score from one of the Evangelion movies. I’d say 10 and….. a half.

Chat:- can you give us any hints to new opening
kerry:- its amazing.
everybody:-yes.
kerry: - visually it’s one of the OUT THERE ONES

May will have some AMAZING moments in this volume.

If you missed the stream, it's now been uploaded to the RT site after some technical difficulties:

And pretty early on they bring up an interesting topic that wasn't covered in the tumblr post; The move to "Work At Home" has in some ways improved the production pipeline and with the refinements being done by various companies that offer solutions to problems people face with "Work At Home" it is possible that RT Animation might see some serious improvements in the future due to working at home.

Specifically they mention that while Rooster Teeth has always been fortunate to have been set up in Austin where there is actually a decent amount of animation, acting, etc studios and resources to pull from compared to say Wisconsin (no offense Wisconsin) its still not exactly the largest or most accessible of such cities in the US. Because of that RT has always had a bit of a problem of obtaining and retaining talent due to being too remote for some people to move/stay there long term.

For example they might hire someone for a year or so to work on a project but then that person moves away and gets work elsewhere because it's not convenient to live in Austin. Or they might reach out to someone but that person ends up declining working for them because Austin is simply too far away for them to move there just for work. For example Mark Zhang of Team SLVR fame decided to say no when RT offered him a chance to work on RWBY in at least a major part because he lived very far from Austin and didn't want to move.

However with Work At Home solutions it will now be much easier for them to contact specific talented animators (and possibly other types of talent) and have them simply work on RWBY or other projects wherever they live instead of having to cram 300+ people into a single warehouse in Austin to get a big project done.

So taking the Mark Zhang example again, while he did decline working on RWBY he did work for RT indirectly by being hired as an animator for Death Battles, since the one and done fight scenes that show required was something he could actually do remotely. But now with Work At Home solutions allowing individual animators to all be part of the same massive pipeline even when they're spread all across the country I'm very hopeful that Mark or animators like him could be hired to work on RWBY on a more permanent basis.

Anyway, I'm going to continue listening to the Zen. It's very interesting. :)

I like that RWBY Relic theory.
I mean Oz made it clear back when everyone first arrived at Beacon that knowledge will not free them of burdens and it's how they use that knowledge. Yang is the one who has been looking for answers for most of the series, and if the truth she learned hurt her. She learned about Magic, Salem, Raven, had to face fear, doubt, and she could of pulled out. But she took that knowledge she learned and has moved forward, instead of running and hiding like her mother did.
Ruby herself is caught in the struggle of Choice. People are looking to her to lead them, and currently her choices have lost them an ally and the greater foe is at their door. Now the lives of a Kingdom rest on the choices she makes over the next 2 days, and she was already having a rough time trusting herself and her calls (as indicated by her talk with Qrow).
I wonder how this theory would tie into Weiss, Blake, and their character arcs.
