Also I note that they plan to bring the civilians to the crater. I have been wondering for a while if maybe Team Good Guy's plan will be to what Ironwood did in reverse.
They have the Winter Maiden now. If they can sneak into Atlas and get to the Vault they can control the staff and use it to bring Atlas down to the ground. If the Staff can safely reunite Atlas with the ground without smooshing anything then that could be the perfect way to complete the evacuation in the blink of an eye. And with Atlas back on the ground it opens up the possibility of using the Staff for the defense of the reunited city (aka ALL of Atlas) such as by powering force-fields instead of lifting. Or getting the Relic out of Salem's reach and completing the Amity Project in a twofer by using the Staff as a CCT tower/lifting Amity.

Wouldn't landing Atlas on the crater smoosh all the civilians? Interesting idea regardless, though given how shortly after the last this volume is starting I am unsure they've had the time to consider anything so detailed as of yet, but landing Atlas safety to create an anti Salem/Grimm barrier does seem like the safest bet.

If it was just dropped down yes.
But this is a DIVINE Relic we're talking about here. We have seen a spirit of Knowledge stop time just to have more time to chat with people. If given the order to "reunite Mantle and Atlas" or something like that as it's one task who knows what kind of bullshit the Staff could come up with to make that possible without Destroying anything.
Alternatively just lower it almost to the ground and then extend some ramps or ladders down or something.

Pretty good news IMO, since shipping costs has been one of the biggest barriers for me in terms of buying RT merchandise and shipping prices from the UK to Norway is a lot more forgiving than from the US. Especially since my country isn't part of whatever trade agreements that let's RT occasionally offer free shipping to Europe during the holidays and other Sales.

That was a solidly interesting piece to be sure, though I am unsure if Salem disregards Watts as much as the writer implies I definitely think their overall point is excellent and apt.

I disagree with Sir-adamus a little on that last point, because expecting Ozma to be reasonable about rescuing Salem from that tower at this point is just mean. 
As for the sack babies, I totally believe that CFVY and STRQ happened. RWBY and JNPR were interrupted by the Vytal Tournament. This is in no way because I refuse to imagine the horror that is Cinder and co trying to handle a sack baby. Even at his V2 and 3 doucheest, Mercury doesn't deserve that trauma.

Oh my gosh that'd be a hilarious mental image, I image though they'd just foist the job off on Emerald, with Neo disappearing Mercury either getting really weird or just saying he'll drop kick it and Cinder being like "No." and walking away for 'reasons'.
