Huh. Didn't realize this earlier but the blog linked earlier was actually its own thing and not just a link to the WayForward Twitter.
Mostly just a basic recap but Qrow, Penny and Winter are now confirmed for Arrowfell appearances and we get facial portraits of all the Ace Ops.

Well, yes, but depending on the style of Char knockoff you're going for, they could fill the role. Take Rau Le Creuscet from Seed for example.
Dang, these are excellent portraits I tell you what.
(Looks at current Gundam Char analogue) I am getting Summer vibes.

lord imagine if in RWBY Canon Summer is somewhere playing a long con or something.
(though I have seen a current theory that Summer is "Kevin: The Grimm Dragon Of Vale". I don't buy it, but still).

Speaking of which.
Another advertisement. Definitely getting closer to the end with how tightly packed these are getting. I expect at least all of Team RWBY to get these character intros and the music teaser was numbered so probably more of those in the wings.
Guessing the game comes out late November. Though if they gradually start accelerating the pace of the Arrowfell announcements until they come daily then I guess early/mid November is also an option.

Eh, it's not the same genre to really be competing with Pokemon. Wayforward isn't big enough that I would see it as a problem.

It's really ramping up. Weiss already and another music teaser on the same day. A big difference from the practical drought after RTX.

Sytokun's a dude currently "on' his third RWBY "rewrite"—none of which were ever finished or went anywhere after even a few videos. Hilariously, his second such "rewrite" project has all of one Q&A video for it...followed by him claiming that he was "Moving On From RWBY" (and then proceeding to do nothing but RWBY content).
His latest, "Remnants", has...basically all of two "episodes" existing. His version of the "White" trailer is about Weiss being a helpless scared little child until her father coaches her into being badass. His first episode proper focuses almost entirely on Qrow, making him Ruby's father, whereas Summer exists just to fall for Qrow and then get fridged.
(He's also on the RWDE tag as part of a new wave of "MONTY'S VISION" hatejerking, because the folks who really respect Monty Oum and what he created are the folks who believe they can do Monty's Oum creation better than Monty Oum himself~)

Hmmm, maybe they can create a sort of self applied perception field around themself that works as a translation of the Kami Tanuki's shape shifting?
