Whelp, the pressure cooker that is Ruby is venting steam.
One could argue there's hints of a third god thanks to the one seen in the fairy tales segment, but that would only make 3.
Jaune also never sold his marriage to the devil because some jack-off didn’t like the idea of being married.Yes, but at least with Jaune, there are in story reasons for his suffering. Unlike Peter, who is a cosmic chewtoy because writers won't let him keep a win.
Joe Quesada, good contender for worst person to happen to the comic industry, right up there with Didio, Johns and Liefield. I'd still say the last one was worst. The others did some good before they got too big to be reigned in. Liefield was always a hack, and he has literally destroyed companies with his incompetence.Jaune also never sold his marriage to the devil because some jack-off didn’t like the idea of being married.
this is the promotional image for it
I don't fully know what has been happening in the most recent episodes
Last I knew our young protagonists and Luz's Mother had made it back to the Boiling Isles with the intent to stop the Collector and I think Hunter had a final encounter with Belos.
so seeing this image of Eda and King in clear FIGHT mode and Luz's face.......her face just screams to me something along the lines of "Sorry, Amity, but I'm about to make a sacrifice play to save everyone." :'(
They followed Belos back to the Isles, were briefly caught up in some nonsense at the school and Kikomora being a pest as usual, they resolved some of their various traumas, and arrived at the titans skull where the Collector has set up shop. Belos has possessed Raine, who, like most of the isles adult population, has been turned into a puppet, and is now trying to trick the Collector into taking out the heroes for him.
sorry.
anyway, who is ready for PAIN this Saturday?
*sighs*
it disheartens me everytime I see people go "was I meant to feel something" when Ruby gave away the emblem.
-.- like, did they not watch the trailer that started the entire series?
I mean, 'it carries a mothers promise' has implications all on its own...
which "critics" and others counter with shit like "it was never brought up before, so it was never established" and shit like that.
