Jac: The mines would be good for the children! It'd give them independence and the results of an honest days work!Ask yourself that question again but first consider what Jacques Schnee's stance on child labor laws is likely to be.
Final Fantasy 7 has like zero subtlety with it's villains and I kind of love it for it.

I wouldn't undersell it myself, the meanings match up way too well for me to think it was a coincidence.

Also since it's not legal to hire child laborers I don't have to pay them! Uh, I mean as a family man who believes firmly Family Values and the importance of the bond between parent and child I have generously offered my adult employees the opportunity to grow closer to their children (and random orphans we picked off the street) by making every day a Bring Your Child To Work day.

This is set prior to RWBY canon and Lionheart is still alive. I'm really hoping that we get a chance to see what he looked like in his prime. Would be really cool to have a GMPC moment where he pulls the party out of the fire by using some badass Weiss-style Dust magic and reveals his Semblance.
Also the show was a ton of fun to watch. Not as much talespire and artwork as I'd hoped but it was really cool how they made use of pre-recorded voice acting from actual characters in the show. And they made good use of editing to cut down on downtime where nothing interesting is happening, it kept the pace high and ensured that there was always something interesting happening on-screen instead of having having every other minute be spent watching people mumble doing math or looking up bonuses or whatever.
Lots of cool world-building too, Kuchinashi being a mountain based city that can only be accessed by deliberately un-maintained drawbridges to keep out unwanted visitors already makes it a highly unique and colorful city that really has a character of it's own.
Also thanks to Chris Kokkinos there is now Taccos on Remnant. Lots and lots of taccos.
Vacuan Deathmetal is also a thing.
That'd definitely be interesting, I liked the added detail that Lionheart doesn't have much pull which makes doing his job harder.
I wanna see some White Fang stuff myself like them taking down Faunus trafficking crime bosses.
Yeah it was quite well paced, I loved the added sound effects, and it wouldn't shock me if we see more and more visual stuff as time goes on to be honest. Also wow I didn't even notice the editing haha, shows it was smooth.

Goodness I don't know if this is plausible or not but if the RT site allows them to edit videos and such fanart should emerge after they came out then I hope that the episodes will eventually be edited to include fanart of various scenes as they happen. XD
Will defitively be interesting if the campaign shows the White Fang in a more positive light. At the very least I expect it to do a lot to explain how the White Fang became the way it did.

so, thinking about RWBY, Ruby, Ace-ops, and how people want Ruby herself to change because they dislike her optimism and what her to be a bit more cynical, while cry that the ACE-OPS were done dirty because they forced the fable moral.
Well, we all know what the Aces are and how their fables gave them their downfall, but here is a quick recap.
Marrow - The Dog And The Bone/The Dog And It's Reflection - Dog has nice bone, dog sees it's reflection, thinks it's reflection is another dog with a better bone, dog barks at reflection, in doing so drops it's bone in the lake and loses it. Moral, being indecisive can make you lose what you have. Marrow could not pick a side and got beat.
Harriet - The Tortoise And The Hare - Hare is confident in it's speed and challenges Tortoise to a race. Tortoise agrees and they race. Once a long way ahead the confident Hare decides to take a nap, thinking that they can wake up at any time and still beat the slow moving Tortoise. When Hare does wake up Tortoise is near the finish, and no matter how hard/fast Hare runs, Tortoise wins. Moral, overconfidence and pride can make you lose. Harriet was so laser focused on Ruby and so sure of herself that she did not see Weiss arrive for the interception and ate an ice wall.
Elm and Vine - The Elm And The Vine - A story about properly supporting your partner. Elm and Vine have a break down in communication, and then Vine gets taken out, leaving Elm on her own and losing.
Now what about Ruby?
She is Little Red Riding Hood. As the story goes she on her way to her Grandma's house with a basket of goodies and told to "Stay On The Path". She is a good girl and does that, until The Wolf shows up. Wolf manages to distract and convince her to leave the path to go pick some flowers. This gives Wolf time to get to Grandma's, eat her, and set his trap for Little Red, who he also eats. Moral, stay on the path and don't let others guide you off it.
Ruby, well she knows her path. She knows her moral. She is here to help people, save and protect lives, be a beacon of hope. She knows who she is and what she wants. So, to me, those that want Ruby to "change" are, in a way, acting as "The Wolf".
Bonus, Johnny Depp Wolf is always amusing.

So May's voice actress took advantage of the released character sheets to make her own. Those pesky Atlesians IntSpec officers classified all the spoiler parts though.
I have to admit. May is one of the side characters I'm looking forward to the most this volume. I feel like there could be a very interesting potential confrontation between her and her family. Plus I hope volume 8 will have a scene that's as direct and upfront about her trans status as gen:LOCK's Training Daze episode was for Val/entina.

Also I think it will come up, her VA said the only reason she revealed it was cos people were making assumptions about Robyn and Joanna and wanted to correct them as some were rooted in kinda gross reasoning.

From memory some folks heard Robyn's base model was the 'male' one and so jumped on that to suggest she was trans, while the other arguments for Joanna were basically "She's not traditionally feminine therefore trans".
