Fixing RWBY Vol 6 Finale was PEAK

Do I even need to say why? If you all watched what I just watched you know EXACTLY why I love this. Adam is/was my favorite character and he had potential to be much more of a character but the writers had no idea what to do with him so they killed him off in a half assed fight that was purely done to get him out of the story and push a ship that wouldn't sail for another 5 or so years after vol 6's conclusion.
Adam felt threatening, unhinged and more like a force of nature than he has ever felt and that should've been the vibe he should've been giving off the entire time. The fight wasn't easy for Team RWBY either, by the end of it all they are all gassed, Yang is missing her arm again because it got blown off by the force of her semblance hitting Adam.
And the fact that his final words were
"Fuck you Schnee"
Makes more sense than just
"Oh"
Because there is no weight with that, its a pathetic set of last words because that's how the writers saw him. Weiss making the attempt to at least say sorry for what her family did was great but I like Adam's response because he doesn't regret anything nor does he want her sympathy or empathy. All he has for Weiss and especially Blake is absolute hatred and it was a hatred that they all could see was never going to die. The man straight up too a full power semblance gut punch from Yang and still had the fighting spirit to try and stand back up even as he was coughing up pints of his own blood at that point and the look on Yang's face when she sees this says a lot especially when she almost pleads with him.
"Just stay down man"
and you can tell as Adam was coughing up blood his retort likely would've been
"Never" or "Not unless you kill me"
Because the truth of the matter is that sometimes, despite being the hero? Sometimes, they have to put the unsavable ones down and this was the case for Adam. No one celebrates, no one cheers, no one forehead touches, no one shares a tender moment. Blake takes his weapon, gives him one last disappointed and heartbroken look and then leaves.
Yang during the entire encounter was great, her PTSD still effecting her but she fights through it and by the end her cocky attitude feels earned unlike the original.
All of this is to say, I loved this finale, I love this fixing series and I cannot wait to see more. This in every way surpasses the canon and I am not even joking.
