They're convinced it's me, because I totally have such an objection to speaking my mind on my own blog~
Also, it's really dawned on me that Fixing RWBY stans think having Adam shoved into every storyline would make him a more intimidating villain, when in reality having him show up just to get clowned on and knocked off a train every five minutes just makes him look more like this fellow~

Ha, they screenshot my comment and called me an idiot for mentioning real world limitations, claiming I meant the animators not being paid properly, when I meant there are actual practical limits to what the animators can produce without being overworked, and no, RT is not a big enough studio to do 24 episode seasons with 30 minute episodes.

Oooh a very good point there, they had plenty of time to shake the rust off so to speak.
Though frankly I think these 'writers' forget how well RWBY worked together in their first full fledged team up too, but then recalling canon is not exactly their strong suit, if it were they'd not be so surprised by basic plot developments.
oh, another possible issue when this "rewrite" makes it to Atlas.

RWDE are dumb, news at eleven. I'm so done with spending more time focusing on things I hate than things I like. There's literally a million better things to do than hating on a show for not being what you wanted it to be. Like watching a different show that does look like it could be something you'd like more.
Anyway I'm pretty sure Volume 9 is slated for January 2023 or at least very early 2023 so I'm going to look forward to that but in the meantime I'll chill with family in the holidays, watch some movies and then play Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night when I get back home.
Once I'm done with that I'll try out some of the new Switch games we got for the library, maybe read some books and before I know it volume 9 will air and I'll get a thousand times more genuine satisfaction out of watching that than anyone could get from wasting their life trying to tear it apart.

Remember, if you're going to pirate it, share the source with friends, but don't be too public or it'll end up on WBs list of things to take down! But send an email or something to Rooster Teeth (via disposable email account is recommended) and tell them WHY the company that mistreated and fired all the people who actually made the show aren't getting your money!

I'm not planning to pirate it. If I'm going to start making a principled boycott about a company treating it's employees like shit then I'd need to boycott basically every streaming company, every movie studio, every video game company, every anime production studio, and so on. The sad truth is that RT turning out to be pretty shit as a company is in no way an aberration or any kind of deviance from the norm. That is the norm.
And I just don't have the energy for that. Ultimately worker conditions will only improve when worker rights are thoroughly enshrined in law AND when strong labor unions are present to fight back against companies trying to erode or loophole their way around said rights.
One person here or there pirating something doesn't make much of a difference and I don't have the energy to try to constantly parse every single product I consume to see if it passes the purity test. That goes for clothes and food and all sorts of stuff too. I'm probably supporting far worse systems than RT every time I buy a tomato and this shit is just too much and too tiring for me to deal with.
Maybe I'm destined for the Bad Place because I didn't score enough brownie points with my media consumption but if so then so be it. I try to be a good person to the people around me and help people when I can by supporting independent artists and donating to charity and stuff. Maybe I'll drop my FIRST subscription and watch the show with ads or something but I don't see how one person sending a email is going to make a difference when they probably get like a million emails from people claiming that they're boycotting RT because they made Yang's boobs smaller or whatever.

Like, don't get me wrong. If the workers at RT get together to unioneze or protest or start a boycott or whatever to push for better working conditions then I'll try to contribute in whatever way I can.
But ultimately RT is a company in Texas and I'm just some dude in Europe. There's not much I can do on my own from over here on the other side of the pond. Especially with the amount of spoons I have.

That's hard to say, I think probably a kind of advisor/guide perhaps, but not necessarily on your side.
Yeah its a big part of why I consider RWDE so weird and kind of unhealthy, obsessing over something you hate and also intentionally reading everything about it in the worst light possible is just a miserable way to live life.

If I have heard/read correctly, when Cheshire is played straight he acts as Alice's guide, but the way they go about it is through misdirection and shenanigans usually. An example being to make sure Alice gets moving and goes for Wonderland's exit was to cause Alice to rile up The Queen so damn much she chases poor Alice with murderous intent.
