V9 continues the trend of Weiss figuring her own shit out on her own without really having a moment with someone else, baring Ice Queendom of course.
Like, outside of that anime, the only time I can recall her being vocally given an answer or direction really was back in Volume 1 when Port told her to stop being a brat and instead try and be the best support.
I mean at the end of V1 we see her put her issues aside and accept Blake.
In V4 she chooses on her own to get the fuck out of house.
And in V9 she is the one who gives the answer/guiding statement for Jaune/the audience after she and the others see the Genial Gems.

The one reason I haven't torn into That Video is because I know for certain it'd be exactly as Fucking Stupid as that thread is showing it to be.

I think we have a word now for what some people have felt at times in RWBY.
An example being V9's reunion with Jaune. People expected heartfelt moment, and instead what people focus on is Thirsty Weiss.
Red does explain that Bathos is not 100% a bad thing and it doesn't always undercut the sincerity of the moment it's in, which I think also fits the reunion with the Banana Knight.

Well, if they're going to 'redeem' Ironwood, or never have him be evil in the first place, having Cordo turn out to be evil would be a nice anti-hope spot, much like her realization in V6 proper was to give us hope that Ironwood would come to his senses.

Not really anything nice about it. It's conspicuously making another female character go from reasonable to scum of the earth in order to change two scum of the earth male characters into being reasonable and likely also supplanting the female protagonists. You just know that with this shit tier writing Adam will become the real mail character in this shitty fanfic.

I'd like to point out that, despite the story so desperately trying to evoke sympathy for Adam (including using his mother's implied abuse for his sake—yes, Fixing RWBY does that and fuck you Celtic Phoenix/everyone involved for that), the story just had Adam murder numerous people and allow Grimm to attack the citizens of Argus.
Fixing RWBY does not only not understand what made Adam a terrifying villain (because its writer can't sympathize with women who are abused by men) but turned him into a boring psychopath. And the only way Celtic Phoenix knows how to make him seem threatening is to have Team RWBY act completely helpless against him, to the point where he can 1v4 Team RWBY, but has him get effortlessly taken out by one single person afterwards each time, making him look completely pathetic as an antagonist and making it clear that Celtic Phoenix is a misogynistic hack.

It would be kinda hilarious if Ciel made a comeback.
We almost certainly have Emerald, Oscar, Nora, Ren, CFVY, SSSN, Winter, Pietro, Maria and Theodore.
I also expect Qrow, the Happy Huntresses, Ilia, Blake's parents, Mercury and Tyrian to get face time.
Besides that though I am much less sure, though I hope we don't see Tai, but I'd be interested to see Raven, for the spicy drama.
