Gosh so true, just (Squeals) So very, very, very gay! There is gay, there is GAY, and then there is what the Bees had in the DC comic.
Ooh that could be very fun!"Good luck, Gundam Team RWBY. Come Back Safely."
It took a bit to get there but when it hit, it HIT!
God it's so refreshing to see a fictional relationship go slow for reasons like this instead of the endlessly dull "will they won't they, can't spit it out, misunderstand every confession" bullshit that is so common in fiction in general and anime in particular.Nora doesn’t get enough credit for how healthy and mature it was of her to pause her relationship with Ren so she can discover her own identity. How easy would it have been for Nora and the writers to just have her and Ren seal the deal then and there on the bed like so much other media would? But they didn't. Nora realized that finding out who “just Nora” is was more important than being “Ren and Nora .”

Also they didn't stretch out the communication issues for 13 seasons/400 chapters, nor did they repeatedly try to fix their issues only to go back to the status quo over and over.Instead, the difficulties in communicating were based in the nature of the characters, with Ren being afraid to open up and the general stress, while Nora tried a grand action in the hopes it would smooth things over, but once they were actually talking, they understood each other well enough.
Honestly with some of the strength feats she has and how she doesn't get massacred in melee with other Huntsmen she should be able to lift that, though she might not find it easy.
Weiss, I know you probably want to help....but why are you trying to lift that stone column?
Honestly I'm not sure if it would have been possible/realistic budget-wise without having a volume put out to justify the expenses but volume 1 really could have used a extra few months at least before it was released so that Jaundice could have existed alongside equivalent arcs for each member of Team RWBY and have been stuffed into longer two-part episodes instead of being stretched out over four weeks. Now, to be fair, doing Jaundice before any arcs with the girls was a mistake anyway, and that would have also likely stretched the Beacon Era out another volume at least. It's the old RWBY pain
- Adam's theme has him refer to the Faunus using animal-like terms ("Afraid to leave the nest", "satisfied to gnaw on scraps", etc.). Not only does it showcase his refusal to accept that he's wrong and dismissing naysayers as weaklings, but it demonstrates a crucial point of his character; Adam doesn't care even a little bit about the White Fang, or the Faunus in general. Him using animal terms to describe them? He sees them just like the humans do, and just like he sees humans, i.e. inferior to himself for what he perceives as weakness and cowardice. He's even racist to his own people, despite maintaining that all he does is for their benefit.
