Phoenix/Night - "Teleportation is another power of the Schnee glyphs, and for our heroes to get out of this other world the heroes will unlock their "True Semblances". Jaune will Amp Ruby and Weiss. Ruby breaks everyone (including civilian survivors) down on the molecular level, and Weiss will teleport them all back to Remnant with her family acting as the anchor point on the other side."
- Me summarizing their recent video.

His logic is based on "How else does the dust in her chambers get shot out of her glyphs?"
Basically when Weiss casts icicle barrage and whatnot he figures it is "teleportation" that gets the dust from the chambers out to the glyphs around her.

here is the video

honestly, if anything gets them off the island and back to their loved ones....I would bet money it would tie into how Alice returns from Wonderland.
>.>

Also, if we are doing Wonderland with this island, I really hope for the Big/Small magics.
Imagine Giant Weiss!
XD
Blake - "Finally, she isn't the shortest."
Weiss - *trying hard to watch her step* "Oh Ha Ha, very funny."

*thinks back to Disney's Alice In Wonderland*
That story basically turned out to be Alice having a weird ass dream after falling asleep under a big tree, right?

*looks at the giant tree at the center of the island*
Welp.

So, one thing I still love about Volume 8, but don't talk about much, is Harriets body language. In particular, every time Ironwood finds another moral ledge to fall off in front of her. You can see she knows, KNOWS, it's wrong, but she just can't break away from her path.

Alice - "There's a large tree with a hole in the middle, and if I could find that tree I would be able to get home."

*looks back to the giant ass tree on The Island*

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Google question & answer
"What is the moral lesson of the story of Alice in Wonderland?"

"Though taking risks can be scary (like crawling down a rabbit hole), but standing still can be scarier. Without taking risks and challenging ourselves, we don't grow. We really shouldn't be doing this, after all, we haven't been invited, and curiosity often leads to trouble."

Imagine if V9 is the return of Velvet to the show, but it is not REALLY Velvet and instead Wonderland Island's version of the White Rabbit/March Hare but it just uses the likeness of Velvet because that is a bunny girl our heroes know.

what if the characters aren't allowed to reunite until the overcome some personal hurdle

this way we can have Cheshire Blake taunt the crap out of Yang.

yes I am cruel, but the idea of Yang being pestered by a Fake Blake is oddly amusing to me despite shipping bees.

*scrolling through youtube subscriptions playing catch up on videos after a busy few days*
*sees Unicorn video*
So the flavor of shit this week is "The Silver Eyes Are Shallow" with a thumbnail of an upset Mistral Arc Ruby with the word "HOLLOW" in big letters.
At least it's only 10 and a half minutes and not 30 to 60 minutes >.>"
Anyone have any tumblr posts to counter this video? I, for one, can't think of any narrative weakness to the special eyes.

Not off the top of my head but I've not been focussing on that aspect of the series recently.

I did however get someone new into RWBY so huzzah!

At this point, Unicorns entire gimmick is hateclicks. I can't wait until the hatedom turns on him like they always do. He deserves it.

I saw people post the video on a facebook page and people agreed and said the Silver Eyes are just dues ex machina just because their "grimm nuke" power was never alluded to
I pointed out the fact that RWBY the series is heavily influenced by fairy tales and well known trope is that of "Silver Bullets" to eradicate monsters.
the response? "If you need to use outside sources then it's bad writing" or something like that.

Honestly these people are just looking for stuff to complain about, Ozpin set up that the eyes were notable in the first fucking episode and dues ex machina resolves plot points with no basis, while silver eyes at best, fuck with the villains somewhat.

Oz fucked up, and got called on it hard. Which led to him admitting, out loud, he didn't have a long term plan besides try and push Salem back. Which only made feelings of betrayal from his neglecting to share vital, need to know information even worse.

On other RT news, I am again bitterly amused at the last episode of Transformers Kingdom. I'm convinced at this point that Elita's death was not something the RT side of the production crew came up with.
